This painting originated from a small sketch I did of some goofy looking dogs on a couch, watching and betting on a sports game. Some of the dogs in this painting are of actual dogs that I know. I've included a painting within the painting of the classic dogs playing poker, just as a homage for giving me the idea of having dogs gambling in modern times.
